While my other album shows the monarch out in the world, here is the clearest shot of the chrysalid stage of a second monarch that should be good to go in a few days. He was in the same butterfly cage as the previous one, hanging from a spot of the cover that was hard to reach. When Ellen unzipped the cover, I finally could get a picture without the vinyl or net in between. I hope you can see what appear to be gold threads dotting the bottom and along the closure on the top. I don't know what they really are made of but they are certainly beautiful.
