We hosted the Richmond Area Independent Librarians midwinter meeting this afternoon. Librarians from about 10 schools convenes to tour our library, socialize and share library issues. We talked about digital resources, collaborating with the tech department, ebooks and the future of libraries. It was a wonderful opportunity to hear how other professional are dealing with the same questions we have. Our school head stopped in to welcome the group and our academic dean sat in to hear about the issues facing the profession. It is wonderful to have the support of our administration.
P.S. The title was changed from the original boring "Library Professionals" because @digitalrn Rick's suggestion is so much more fun. (And far more accurate !)
