The boy in the striped shirt had checked out a picture book from the library, and these four cool 4th graders were thoroughly enjoying flipping through the pages of the story "The Dumb Bunnies." Sometimes it is fun just to drop your guard and experience again the things you liked when you were 5 or 6.
Great shot. I love the enjoyment they're getting from a picture book. So often the humor and whimsy of picture books is -- well, i won't say wasted on little kids but . . . Take Tuesday for instance -- older kids get the humor.
