These two First Grade classes have been studying maps and architecture. Their ultimate goal is to create their own village. Today they invited the DIrector of Facilities Management & Construction at our school to show all the planning it has taken to create our school. In addition a surveyor gave them a chance to look through his surveying instrument. I can't wait to see what they design when it is time for them to put their knowledge to use!
What a fun project! My granddaughter is in the first grade and it's so much fun to observe her being exposed to the world. I'd like the chance to look through and surveying instrument!
