The grounds of the Virginia Museum provide the perfect setting for a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Note that the Chihuly glass installation is still a lovely accent in the pool.
@allie912 I would imagine when he has the glass blown for these installations he takes into consideration the weather conditions it will be exposed to and has the glass made accordingly. Glass can be heat and cold resistant- just think of the extremes the window of the space shuttle used to go through when entering or leaving earth's atmosphere.
