My favorite picture of Maddie from this visit. I posted this on Facebook when I took it, but waited til I got home to post it on 365. We had gone shopping for a few little things at the local western wear shop when Maddie spied this hat and claimed it for her own. Max decided it was too expensive so I pulled Grandmother rank and bought it for her. I have it on the best authority that I did the right thing. After all, according to my Downton Abbey T-shirt, "It is the job of grandmothers to interfere."
