I took this at the pep rally yesterday, zooming in from the edge of the crowd. This kindergartner was bemused by all the noise and hooplah. She is wearing a mini cheer leading outfit sold at the school supply shop. The irony is that we don't have an actual cheer leading squad. I think it was disbanded some years ago when it was determined that girls cheering for the boys' teams from the sidelines was somehow sexist and not in keeping with the philosophy of our school.
