The weather in Richmond was perfect on Christmas Day, so John and I took a stroll down Monument Avenue to enjoy signs of the season. In 2007, the American Planning Association named Monument Avenue one of the 10 Great Streets in the country, and the residents take this responsibility seriously. They preserve the beautiful homes but with a wonderful sense of fun. I hope you enjoy a taste of Christmas on this grand avenue.
