Do you remember that a few weeks ago a small bat got into the library? Well this morning I found a healthy and lively earth worm stretched out on the library floor. It was a little easier to understand what lured him to this spot. He was, clearly, the proverbial bookworm.
BTW, no worms were harmed in the making of this photograph. Immediately afterwards I transported him outdoors in the warm autumn rain.
