This painting in the same block as today's collage has been there for several years, and I confess I thought President Nasheed was a fictional character. Did I feel ignorant when I got home and researched further to learn he was a Maldivian politician, human rights and environmental activist, who served as the fourth President of the Maldives from 2008 to 2012.
