This morning as I walked through Carytown, I struck up a conversation with Mr. Ragsdale as he set up his guitar. At my request he sang some songs in honor of Bluegrass music pioneer Ralph Stanley who died Thursday at the age of 89. He even regaled me with a story about actually playing with Stanley on several occasions.
