"This is the forest primeval..."

First line of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's poem Evangeline, which goes on to describe the murmuring pines and the hemlocks. (I had to memorize the introduction when I was in 7th grade. You never forget the poetry you learn as a kid.) Palm trees replace pines and hemlocks in central Florida, but everywhere you look the vegetation resembles a forest primeval.
Loving the row of mail boxes, quite discreet compared to the ones I see in New Zealand.
