In schools and offices around the U.S., basketball fans have filled out their "brackets" to try to predict the ultimate winner of the NCAA championship. Meanwhile the Second Grade is having a similar competition, but with book match-ups. I selected 16 pairs of "realistic fiction" picture books that the classroom teachers will read to their students who will then vote on. Ultimately the competition will be down to the final two. I promise to let you know which book is the champion of Second Grade.
