The most incredible talent I had never heard of before. Born in 1943, a MFA from Yale, worked at Museum of Modern Art in NYC for 12 years, but really made her mark by speaking up for women artists, especially Black women. Her talent, her vision, her force grew and influenced the art world through the turbulent years of the 70’s and beyond. I will share more of her work tomorrow. If you are in the Richmond, VA area, you must see this exhibition.
