Back in Time

I walked to Virginia House for the annual holiday open house. This building was brought from England in the 1930’s and reconstructed in what the owner hoped would become a reproduction of an English village. It didn’t quite work out that way, but Virginia House is now owned by the Virginia Museum of History and a Culture, and they maintain it beautifully, both inside and out.

That looks like a fun place to visit- it reminds me of a building we have down in Easton- it's a replica of an English castle.
