Look at the Prices

This image from an exhibit of African-American photography at the VMFA was really taken to show police in Harlem in the ‘60’s. I couldn’t help but pause at the prices captured more than 50 years ago.

@phil_howcroft The exhibit goes to the Whitney in NYC next, then the Getty in LA. According to the literature, the works have been digitized through a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities and will be available online.
