Every three or four weeks I make a pilgrimage to Chewy’s Bagels in Carytown and order a baker’s dozen of sourdough bagels. Then I bring them home and, after putting one aside for enjoying that morning, I slice the others and freeze them, doling out a half bagel every morning. Some may call me boring but in this crazy world, it’s nice to have something you can count on.
Not boring at all! Sourdough is low in sugar and who doesn't like a fresh bagel. Your system of shopping, slicing and freezing was anything but boring. Cute photo too! I like all the things you choose to put on your granite ledge and your magnetic measuring spoons. Who were the tiny pieces of art made by?
@peekysweets Thank you. They are inserts that come with boxes of Ajiri tea from Kenya. Each picture is unique, made from natural materials by village women.. I love them http//www.ajiritea.com
