199 days into my year long making of a daily still life. This old cookery book first belonged to my Mother-in-Law and it was given to her, according to the inscription on the inside cover, in 1932 when she was 28 years old as a Christmas present. Doris was not to marry until 1943 so she was still single when this book was given to her.

I had wondered if anyone would notice that! Yes it was intentional as was the wooden spoon which would have been used in 1932 as well as today.
