Cool capture! Recently I watched two egrets that appeared to be involved in a mating ritual. The female was in a tree and the male kept working his way closer, then flying away. Interesting to watch. Too far away for a photo.

Lovely capture. They do tend to roost and nest in trees the same as the heron. Probably for safety
