Amazon Waterlily Pavilion

In my main album this month I am joining Sam @gigiflower and shooting Manual May.

This is inside the Amazon Waterlily Pavilion at Adelaide Botanic Gardens. There was a small waterlily with two blooms but these pads are those of the Victoria amazonica waterlily, which in the wild is found in the backwaters of South America’s Amazon River.

Such an interesting shot, so much to look at and good layers and compartments... who needs leading lines when you have got lily pads to hop onto, frog-like!
