My theme for now is things of a Christmas nature.
We are however heading into the new year and I am way behind!

This is the tree in the QVB from mid level.
Here’s the 2016 Swarovski Christmas tree by numbers.
More than 82,000 Swarovski crystals.
The crystals travelled over 16,000 kilometres from Wattens, Austria to Sydney, Australia to sit under the iconic QVB dome.
65,150 individual LED twinkle lights.
3,200 branches.
6,400 rose buds.
The star on top is 2.2 metres wide.
The tree is 26 metres tall (and is the tallest tree in Sydney).
Weighs 6.5 tonnes.
It took 44 hours to install.
102 people to install.
1,000 hours to prepare the crystals.
10,000 hours to design, project manage and manufacture.
I would love to see this in person, what an undertaking, to get all those crystals and lights on that enormous tree. Oh my! Of course, soon will come the un-decorating, I can only imagine that! They have to account for every crystal, and light, I’m sure! Just so fabulous. The QVB must be the premier shopping mall in Australia, oh my.
Wow, that’s some expensive tree! Lovely shot. Nice to see you’re catching up. It seems funny when you say how hot you are when we’re all slipping around on ice and snow here! Hope you enjoyed your Christmas
Hope your Christmas was fabulous
wishing you are great new year!
