Good question. Croc's are lighter in colour. Yours is almost white. Croc's almost alway need a dentist, like yours. Croc's like salty water. I think this one does. Alligators do not live near your place. Then again, all the above could be phrased oppositely since this one probably is a zoo animal...
@mastermek ha ha he is actually quite light even for a croc - and yes we don't have alligators here in Oz - but he is in a wildlife zoo so could have been an alligator as we do have some here in Sydney - but he is a 4.2 m saltwater crocodile
@quietpurplehaze I think Aussies think croc straight off the bat - in this image it is hard to be sure though - I loved reading all the comments - including yours Hazel :)
