Oh Hank by annied

Oh Hank

well this is Hank - and he is gorgeous but - he has a trust issue - so - today was a first for me when Hank struck - twice - maybe three times - not sure - the reason he is a bit nervy is the fault of a cat - my friends son - Hanks previous owner - also owns a cat - the cat would sit in front of Hanks enclosure and tease him - causing Hank to strike at the glass - living only in a small unit said friends son could do nothing to prevent this harassment - so Hank now lives with me - and I adore him - and he will settle - he has calmed down some already and he only arrived on Thursday night.
The strikes did not hurt - he didn't hold on - and now I know what it is like I am not wary about picking him up anymore - hopefully Hank and I will become buddies hahahaha
I did ring my friend the day after Hank arrived - I had been watching him and thought how beautiful he was - and questioned why her son gave away Hank instead of the cat ( I would keep Hank lol ) - the cat belongs to his wife - hahahaha - say no more - I am glad because I think Hank is really cool - and now we have two snakes hahahahaha -
Buzz - our other snake - is very calm and never struck out - he is beautiful too

@ianrm actually Ian it didn't hurt ----------he is only young -- head a bit larger than thumb - had i not seen him strike I would not have noticed he had until I saw the blood ----------didn't even realise he had drawn blood at first - lol

My son had snakes and I really liked them. They are so interesting. After the third one escaped, in the house, I said no more. Since I don't know where they are and if they are ok. I suspect they are outdoors. Maybe ?

hmmmm, snakes don't scare me but, well the ones that sneak up on you or the ones that have tails that rattle, but I like most of them well may be the ones that can swallow you whole......

Sorry, Annie... no matter how many wonderful images you post, I am still terrified of snakes. I grew up on a lake with too many water moccasins/cottonmouths...extremely venomous and territorial!
