warming my heart

cuddling and feeding this little chap today was a heartwarming and cathartic experience - happiness stayed with me for most of the day.

The common wombat, also known as the coarse-haired wombat or bare-nosed wombat, is a marsupial, one of three species of wombats.

Wombats are amongst the world’s largest burrowing animals. They are equipped with powerful limbs, short broad feet and flattened claws. Wombats are primarily grazers and their continuously growing incisors work as efficient cutters of grass and forbs.

So cute. Glad you had a good day. There are two hairy nosed wombats at Billabong Sanctuary in Townsville one is called George and the other is called Notso because he is not so hairy as his brother.
