so.....
there was the kid with the snotty nose who insisted on wrapping his arms around me while I read them a story
and.......
the one who likes to bite if he doesn't get his own way
......
the one who doesn't share
and....
the girl who bosses the others around
but.......
then there was the little one who when I told her what a good helper she was replied "mummy would be so proud of me"
and...
the lass who helped put all the sand back in the pit
and...
the one who held my hand
and...
the smiles when we did something funny
and...
the one with the camera who told me where to stand
and....
the hugs when it was time to go home
I am exhausted
but the little things made it worthwhile
A wonderful narration , and a portrait to go with the story ! Very often it is so draining but in the end a worth while and rewarding job ! If only we can remember that at the end of a gruelling day !
I love your 'special' portraits and this is a good one. My DiL is a teaching assistant in England at a school for difficult and unruly children... she has a few tales to tell too!
