I love Euphorbia - I have a number of smaller specimens - needless to say when I saw this magnificent example I was in 7th heaven - funnily - I had bought a very young unimpressive example of this variety at a plant fair the day before - now to wait - and hope I last long enough - to see mine look like this. http://365project.org/annied/people-and-plac/2015-10-03
Beautiful scene ,the path around the Euphorbia leading you to the beautiful little statue ! I think I may have one very similar euphorbia in my garden ,also a couple of other less impressive specimen . mine in the UK are not in flower at the moment and I was only cutting off the dead flower-heads last week in preparation for winter !! ugh !!!!
@beryl I rediscovered Euphorbias only a little while ago when a nursery had a less forboding looking red one than my grandmother...and mum ...used to have...it reminded me so I bought it...since then I have come across more and am building on my collection
