The Goulburn Locomotive Roundhouse is the largest heritage based operating roundhouse in NSW and displays the historic transition from steam to diesel operation. A range of locomotives and items of rolling stock are exhibited. Additionally there are other items of heritage machinery and equipment relevant to the Centre's history. A significant part of the town's history, the original 42 road circular shed within its 90-foot turntable continues to operate today. The Roundhouse comprises a fascinating workshop complete with a large wheel lathe, machine shop, sheet metal shop and blacksmiths forge.
Hi! We are get pushed partners this week. For you challenge I would like you to photograph the same subject from 4 different perspectives and make a collage. I will really look forward to seeing what you create!!
Hi Annie, I know I'm late contacting you about a challenge. If you would like to challenge you to photographing from a child's perspective and pov. I hope this is acceptable, I understand if I am too late. I would appreciate a challenge from you. I may not get it done in time, but I still want something to work on. Hopefully I can give this project more of my attention when I retire in the next few weeks.
The Trolley and Train museum near us also has a turntable but it's not operating. It would be fun to watch something like that to see how it works. Good shot.
What a lovely series you're bringing together! I used to love old locomotives that chugged past my grandmother's town back in the early 50's, but the charm of that era is gone... Nice to see it preserved for future generations to enjoy!
