@seacreature yes, a pheasant - I'm surprised they're not in SA, they were introduced all over the world from Asia in colonial days @chrisiow might get more - I think they neighbours feed them (altruistically!) @thewatersphotos yes, I wish people would put (in general terms) where they live - more specifically, I'm in Staveley-in-Westmorland, the Staveley that's near Kendal.
