Not only did I pick up Jackie's glove, but I also pulled out one of the 2 best paper blocks out of the closet. This is the Moleskine block, the good one. (I also have a lousy Moleskine.)
For some reason, my paper started drying out too quickly while doing the background, but I got around by adding one more layer of water on the unpainted part.
And for some other reason, when I applied blue at the top next to the yellow in the sky, guess what? It turned green. In the tutorial, it stays blue.
However, thanks Jackie for the challenge. I pondered quite a while whether I should go with it. And I am so glad I did.
If anyone else is interested in giving this a try, here's the tutorial https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tG42i114THM @monikozi
@monikozi I can’t keep up! You girls are way too fast for me. I do love your take on this though. The pastel colors blend nicely in my opinion and I can’t really see the green that you’re talking about. You do have a way with detail in your painting.
oh Moni!! I could cry this is so beautiful, in fact it is better than the tutorial! @monikozi you just did this sooooooooo quickly too, llok at you cannot do sea and water, FAV U LUSS
