Discovered it is actually very hard to paint a strong black in watercolour! So worth it for that developing understanding....no pun intended LOL. Quite pleased with this. Traced the outline of the head and shoulders of the girl from a photo I saw online and then made up the rest of her figure and the trees and sunset.
@casablanca this is amazing! You do figures so very well! I would struggle with that. When I first saw this, I actually thought it was a photo instead of a painting it is just that good! FAV
