After much preparation, the day of feasting and thanksgiving has arrived. We have so much to be thankful for this year. Everyone’s health is good and the news of the little one is top of the list. Andy & Christina surprised the family with the news who are absolutely over the moon with excitement. We also had three new faces at the table this year who had never experienced a full-blown American Thanksgiving. Ben’s roommate is from India and Christina’s parents from Vietnam, so it was really fun to share the day with them. An amusing side note: my day started in a panic when I discovered I accidentally left the turkeys out on the countertop overnight. So at 6:00 am I was headed to the grocery store praying that 1) it was open and 2) they would have fresh turkeys (not frozen). They were and they did.
