My father-in-law passed on June 6th, age 90. He had been a dairy farmer, a mechanic, worked at a coal mine and a Ford dealership's repair shop, and ran a welding business. He loved his Farmall A tractor and loved taking his grandchildren and great grandchildren for rides on it. On the day of the funeral, my brother-in-law drove the tractor from his home to the church, where the funeral meal was set up after the Memorial service, and it was the first thing we saw as we drove into the parking lot. After the meal, while we grown-ups were sitting around reminiscing about him, the youngsters gathered around the tractor, and I couldn't resist taking this shot.
