You two ,--now ,don't you scoff all the food !!

What chance have the little garden birds have when these heavy weights are around --but I must admit That there is something about the Jack daw I love ! they are very inquisitive & clever !
Its easy to see who is the top bird here and its not the one with the head up high! Great catch and info!

Yes, I like jackdaws too, they are industrious - the pigeons look so stupid, we have them here, just a nuisance. Well captured, Beryl!

Love the bird symmetry here and I have to say I'm glad to see Mr Woodpigeon getting his comeuppance! I love jackdaws and we don't see them very often here, so I would be glad to take those two chaps off your hands Beryl! Wonderful shot!

I like Jackdaws, they're real characters, They also nick all the food that's put out for the small birds, so we've had to buy some crow-proof bird feeders. They still try, though!

@pistonbroke Ooh I know They watch you putting out food & swoop down from whichever chimney pot they may be resting on ! They really crash bomb into the feeders bt I do love their intelligent look & how they watch you !

Lovely set up, I get Crows, Magpies and even Jays in the garden, but dispite there being many just south of the bridge I do not recall every seeing one north of the Mersey around here.
