This plant is a mass of berries -(the name fails me this morning )!!!
Up early this morning as I woke up with a thumping headache but now having had a painkiller & a cup of coffee-- feel back to normal again -
The wind has dropped & it looks a dry & calmer day today --I hope that I am not speaking too soon !!
You are on my wavelength for those rotten head pains! Pills are a magic potion but its not telling anyone! Now it can be 365 as so many have problems that may be able to share here!
I wonder if you can make jelly out of these bright berries!
Senior moment - I thought " oh that is ....." Then couldn't remember the name of the plant. A few seconds later "Rose of Sharon" (Hypericum) popped up! The colours in your shot are quite autumnal
@purplehaze12 Thanks Hazel --I could remember Rose of Sharon but Hypericum would NOT come at all !! alarmingly a senior moment !! Yes all of a sudden ,after one or two cooler nights there is a hue of autumnal colours coming through which I love , but at the moment I want to hang on to summer as long as possible !!
@pamknowler Same thought came to my mind Pam especially when I saw a Mountain Ash (Rowan tree ) laden down with berries !! @eyesmile Gena --Sshhhhhh !! to early to mention that yet !! lol No not edible --but the birds will love them !! @happypat I now Pat !! My brains need a little juggling I am afraid --perhaps some time in the cold breeze will do the trick !! Much colder I had the heating on all day yesterday --but today although the sun is shining it's still cooler !!
@carolmw Thanks Carol --head has recovered after a good sleep during the morning !! @genesis_one I agree --I get quite exited with the thought of all those mellow colours & tones @jtookey150 Yes , all berry bearing trees & bushes seem to be laden this year --are we in for a hard winter ??
