@happypat Yes I do !! also I have vague recollection of the older children collecting them along the hedgerows & taking them to school from where they would be collected in lorries --I assume to be made into the syrup!!
Wonderful shot Beryl what a beautiful shade of orange/red with the sunlight shining on them and they stand out so well against the sky. I remember rose-hip syrup too!! Fav.
I'm doing OK thank you Beryl. Had a lovely day out in the fresh air yesterday and going over to my sister's tomorrow to finalise the funeral arrangements. It is terribly sad but I honestly feel relieved that he isn't suffering any longer, the last few months were very difficult for him and everyone else.
