Are your eyes bigger than your stomach ?

Today being Cliché day - I thought this would fit the bill !!
My friend and I met up for our monthly lunch and gossip !
The little country pub serves real home made food { cooked from scratch-- as they say today !! )and local grown veg !! We thoroughly enjoyed their home made chicken and leek pie.(advertised on the special board as chicken and leak !!!!! ) But the portions were BIG and we didn't manage all the mash and veg !
