A glorious Spring morning by beryl

A glorious Spring morning

A sight to behold from my bedroom window but as many of you are aware this will soon change ! the developers have won and soon I shall have only a view of houses . We were so surprised when we saw the land being cultivated , so surely the development will not get started till Autumn when the crop is harvested !
PS perhaps I surmised the situation a bit prematurely !! The land has been ploughed but no sign of it being sown !! - perhaps they are only tidying the land until the developers move in -- I hate this guessing and waiting game !
Beautiful shot

How sad! In M alta, developers have taken over everywhere and everything. Soon there will no longer be wny open space. What a pity for those who will come after us.

No Beryl, did I not hear the developers had won or have I forgotten. How very sad especially when you see this lovely sight! We are having 93 houses built on prime agriculture land, starting anytime now but praise be the next 93 have been turned down so we were so pleased!

Save this shot. It will become a beautiful reminder of how once it was look like in the past. Great shot of the land and farming.

Such a shame

I do understand how you feel. At one past residence we lived in - in a semi rural landscape where we looked over fields towards the city, the developers gained a hold - it was supposed to be a Green Area, locked in statute, and now hundreds of houses huddle side by side! A sea of grey roofs!

enjoy the view for as long as you can beryl :)
