Fatsia Japonica -- in flower by beryl

Fatsia Japonica -- in flower

The rather large Fatsia if blooming so well again this year -- nice to see a spot of colour in the garden .
Rather cold today and the local bonfire is on tonight at the Cricket Club which we can see from my bedroom window . But most of the evening I shall be keeping Alfie company in the sound of the TV as the loud bangs of the fireworks really frightens and upsets him !
We used to put the radio on loud to hide the fireworks noise from our dog.Our Fatsia Japonica not quite in full flower yet, here's hoping it wont be long. Your's looks so pretty Beryl.

I always love to see these fluffy flowers at this time of the year. Not a good night for pets my kitty has gone berserk and we have not been able to calm her down yet. Last night she did a puddle in the corner. Dreading tomorrow night.

Beautiful flowers. Poor Alfie. I always used to feel so sorry for animals on bonfire night.

Flowers look great -- hope the evening goes well for Alfie.

Looks very pretty, especially the large leaves. I don't suppose Alfie is much company especially if he sleeps throughout the event.
