We had an unexpected craft day @ Willowdene Farm today - day enjoyed by all especially as we are having terribly wet weather ( If we could only share some of this rain with our friends "down-under " in Australia ! ) The mini-bus took us on a detoured route to avoid flooded roads !We had various crafts from wood-crafted snowmen , embellished felt tree hangings , and Christmas cards making . We had a beautifully prepared 2 course lunch , and in the afternoon this 2week old Kid was brought in from the farm for us to see .

So glad you are still able to have the occasional craft days. Maybe you can find somewhere else to hold them now Willowdene Farm is off the agenda most of the time.
@onewing It is not Willowdene's fault Babs but the funding from the Council they get to provide the service has ceased !!! The reps from the council was there today assessing things and Mentioned perhaps they can find some funding for the group ( but not monthly ) So hope it can be kept going perhaps every 2 or 3 months !! -- It all comes down to money Babs !
@beryl Unfortunately it always does with Council's doesn't it. They always have plenty of money for their meetings and dinners they have to attend though. At least every two or three months is better thank nothing.
