Purple carrots

Gary sowed a packet of mixed carrots and these were the purple ones ! They hd lovely flavour but I was disappointed that the flesh inside was orange !!
A blustery and wet day today not a day to roam round the garden to take a photo !

It’s nice to think of them purple all the way through, but they do make lovely rings with the purple border around the orange center.
