This old favourite in the garden is still flowering well and never fails to five a worthwhile display of flowers - I have just put a couple of cuttings to root in the hope to have a couple of new little plants !
My fuchsia has done well this year.... yours look fabulous as I would expect Beryl.....green fingers at their best! Hope your cuttings take & you can add to your plantings.
@bruni I start the cuttings in a pot with soil , tying clear plastic bag over the pot to retain moisture for few weeks till they start to root . I think I may be a little late in the year with these but no harm in giving them a try - They will have to be kept in the greenhouse or in the conservatory over winter !
Lovely shot and composition. I tried to raise one here because I fell in love with these flowers on one of my visits to the Uk. But it didn't last long in our warm sunny weather.
You can also propagate them by taking cuttings. This is very easy with good results.
