I had to share this Birthday gift with you - yes ,it is a Christmas Pudding . My friend Pat , called yesterday morning with my Birthday card , had a chat on the doorstep at a safe social distance ( shame she couldn't come in for a coffee) and gave me this little gift She had been knitting these little cosies to fit over a chocolate orange . I hope I can resist the chocolate orange as it looks rather sweet amongst my decorations ! ( Alas no Alfie this year to discover the chocolate - Bless him ! )
Another dull , damp and cold day
Nice gift, although a chocolate orange cosy doesn't seem to fit the bill. The chocolate orange could become a chocolate ball if it warmed up. And yes! Alfie, I used to enjoy seeing what he was getting up too.
Well isnât that fantastic...did think it might have a toilet roll underneath but a chocolate orange, now youâre talking! Such a lovely present...made with love & far nicer than some expensive gift you out in a drawer! Well done Pat.
I like what's underneat the cozy most. But it sure makes a lovely decoration for the pudding. I wonder how long you will resist from devouring the pudding.
