A little cheerfulness

A dull and dark day with the occasional snow shower -- just enough to make a light covering !
Just have had enough of the clutter of Christmas - its amazing how we love our Christmas decorations and then all of a sudden they have to come down as we return to normality . I am in the middle of taking down the decorations and the boxes are down in the front room to be packed and put in the attic for another year . Of course ,I shall keep a couple of decorations still on display ,till the twelfth day of Christmas .

We've just taken down our tree and we have put most of the decorations in boxes. Only the Christmas cards may stay for a while, hanging on a 'clothes line' in our corridor.

I agree & I’m grateful this year that I only have one twiggy tree & a small mantlepiece one & all the cards are still in a pile on the table! When I think of all the garlands up the stairs etc...it did look lovely but it’s a bit if a pain taking them down!
