The Meirion mill in Dinas Mawddwy, is no longer a working mill but has one of the looms and samples of the woollen materials that once were made there. Today it is a tourist outlet of all thing Welsh. -We stopped there today to pick up some Welsh goodies for my friend and for a mid morning snack.
Beautiful.... my grandfather and uncles were weavers of Harris Tweed. They all had a loomshed beside their houses and the sound of them at work was a huge part of my summer holidays.
It's such a shame that the artistry produced on that loom is no longer in production but at least you can see it and get some treats as well. Nice shot.
