One delightful poppy plant flowering in the garden -- a lovely pink/red !
Had a busy day Popped to one of the local furniture store to look for a new sofa for the living room -- it has to match the brown leather swivel chair and my lift and recline chair ! I like to roam freely when I look for an item of furniture and ask for assistance when I need it !! Alas -- the sales woman noticed me entering the warehouse and clung to me relentlessly with her unwanted advice and sales patter !! aargh !! -- do I sound like a grumpy old woman !! So I soon glided out while her attention was distracted !
Then off to a builder / gardener's yard to find some pea gravel to tidy around the lawns .I was left to my own devices until I was ready for attendance !
A bit of green grocery purchased before returning home !
That's it for today although I had hoped to do a little in the garden -- but the body is not willing !! there's always another day !

I don't like to be fussed either, we can ask when we need help! Always glad when someone else comes in the shop & I can escape!
Very pretty standing above the snapdragons! I get irritated with sales people who stick to you to - they are only doing what they have been told to do but should be able to detect when you don't need them!
A beautiful poppy and capture it does look very fragile with its tissue paper petals . I hate sales people when they want to help and I am just browsing on the other hand when I do want one there are none to be seen. Tut.
Nice shot. I am the same when sales assistants pounce on you. I just say,"I am fine thanks if I need help I will ask for it" and they usually leave me alone.
I did have the ultimate one though in a changing room of a clothes shop. From the outside came this little voice from the sales assistant. "Do you need a hand in there". I replied "I have been dressing myself for over 60 years thanks, I think I have got the hang of it now". Everything went quiet so I guess she walked off.
