The jack-daws are so busy in pairs -I think the two on the chimney pot have a nest and perhaps youngsters as they guard that pot and chase off any other jack-daw that dare to try and go near it ! ( not my chimney pot I am glad to say ! )

We have a pair of seagulls on ours (Mr and Mrs Beaky).....they have been coming for years now....and every year without fail we get a baby seasgull falling from the roof and living in our garden for about 6 weeks until he gets big enough to fly .......
