Fern?

Day 138 - Not sure what this is but it looked interesting in a kind of triffid way!

Think ive seen this plant before - probably not a fern

Hmm, like Andy I find it familiar and I am wondering if could be Gunnera is it near water?

@chrisiow It's quite near a large pond, all the others around it looked like they had been cut back so there's no older ones to look at, I'm going to go back and look again in a few weeks to see if it is a Gunnera :)
