Berries?

Day 209 - I spotted these growing along a road, not sure what they are but I thought they were a beautiful colour!

Nice photo, if they were about the size of a gooseberry the are probably sloe's.

they look like damsons - same family as sloe. If the branches have thorns it's a sloe. Both can be collected - sloe gin / damson jam.
