Day 250 - Today we went to the Musical Instruments Museum in downtown Brussels. This beautiful Art Nouveau building was formally a department store called 'Old England' who moved out in 1972, whereupon The Belgium Government purchased it in 1978. It took over 15 years to complete the restoration and renovation on the structure as it was in a fairly bad shape. The Museum of Musical Instruments moved in between 1989 and 1994 it's exhibits include significant sections on Brussels' role in the history of manufacturing musical instruments.
