Confused cows!

Day 237 - I thought cows usually only lay down when it is going to rain - but then it was so hot today it was probably too hot and draining to stand!

Great find and capture. I'm not sure what the thing is about when they lie down. I thought it had to do with rain, too.

Great capture although apparently there is no real scientific reason for why cows lie down

@louannwarren It was really hot there and no breeze
@chrisiow I did feel sorry for them as I was in my air conditioned car @mittens It was something my uncle who was a farmer always said to me
@monicac I took this as I drove across Elmely Nature Reserve, when I drove back an hour later they had dissapeared and were paddling in one of the water rills
@bkbinthecity Prehaps they don't like getting their legs wet
